Accessibility Statement
How ChatNeuroMD® supports accessible use, and how to get help.
Our commitment
ChatNeuroMD® aims to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, magnification, and reduced-motion settings. We want every parent, educator, young person and clinician to be able to access our educational resources.
Keyboard and navigation
All interactive elements, including navigation, the menu, tabs, forms and the chat assistant, can be reached and operated with a keyboard. Buttons and links have visible focus indicators, and screen-only navigation controls are labelled for assistive technology.
Colour and contrast
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA colour-contrast requirements in both light and dark mode. Text is never presented on backgrounds that make it unreadable, and colour is not used as the only way to convey information.
Screen readers
Pages use clear headings and landmarks, images have text alternatives, and interactive controls have accessible names. Questionnaires and forms announce their purpose and state to assistive technology.
Motion and touch
If your device requests reduced motion, we reduce non-essential animation. Touch targets across the app are sized for comfortable use on phones and tablets.
Known limitations
Some interactive educational apps and PDF exports may not yet be fully accessible, and we are working to improve them. If you encounter a barrier, please tell us and we will provide the content another way.
Need help or found a barrier?
Email us and we will assist or provide the content in an alternative format.
